Cassidy Smith, Little Rock Attorney

Born and raised in Central Arkansas, Cassidy is a dedicated and passionate criminal defense attorney who provides relentless representation to clients facing or convicted of criminal charges. Her journey into law is deeply personal, shaped by life-changing experiences that fuel her unwavering commitment to justice. These personal encounters with the criminal justice system inspire her to seek justice and offer compassionate advocacy to every client she serves.

Cassidy earned her Juris Doctor from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, where her passion for criminal defense deepened. During law school, she gained invaluable experience, beginning as a Legal Extern with the Capital, Conflicts, and Appellate Office of the Arkansas Public Defender Commission, an office tasked with defending individuals accused of capital murder. Here, she was exposed to the high-stakes nature of death penalty cases, which reinforced her commitment to providing a strong defense for those facing criminal charges.

Later in law school, Cassidy earned her Rule XV Certification, granting her the opportunity to practice law in Arkansas under the supervision of an attorney. Her leadership skills were further highlighted in her role as Treasurer of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, where she demonstrated a strong commitment to both her peers and the legal community.

Before pursuing her legal career, Cassidy graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems, concentrating in Application Development. Her technical background enhances her legal practice, providing her with a unique, analytical approach to problem-solving and case strategy.
